Well, that’s how we started. We actually started getting out more, chatting more, and finding out even more about you. We’ve been around for over a year now, and we see that as a major accomplishment. We’re a lit mag that believes in the writer, like, really. We put the writing before anything else because we value creative voices, natural talent, and placing an emphasis on those who can sometimes get overlooked. Writing is more than just how much content fluff you can bust out (let’s be real, we love a good content fluff ourselves), but we want you to be seen for who we are and what you love.
We love you. Sorry—too soon?
At papers we caught on to a trend, that literary magazines are putting the person over the work, and that can’t happen - not on our site. We read all the work that comes through our portal, and we make sure to get back to every single person that submits. We are also more than willing to critique your work upon request if your submission gets denied. You spent time on that, and it should be treated as so.
We’re planning on shifting the ethos of the literary world and bring it back to the writing. Cause we’re introverts at our core, and we’d rather be at home reading what you made.
