Sentimental Silence

By Janae Harley

Words of wisdom

Blew with the wind

Passed your ears

The rain of tears

Created a depth

Of seldom

A dead flower placed

On top of your tombstone

For there is no more value in you

Just a memory of the past

Gone like time- Yet endless

There is a white noise of old photos

It’s the only thing that stays

A vicissitude that concludes our story

From all the fallen dismay

No deception of déjà vu

Can revert our fates
